Auror Training Now at HOL

Something wicked has happened at HOL this year, with years of talk and gossip going around about when Auror Training would be coming to HOL, the Ministry of Magic has finally approved for a underage Wizard training program.

Yes, you have heard right Auror Training is now part of the class roaster at HOL and is running into its second term, taught none other than my lovely assistant Serenity Thomas and myself.

*Gryffindor cheer*

The program runs in three levels giving it the equivalence of a three-year program at the Ministry of Magic upon graduation. Last term proved quite a big turn out, for student sign up of over 200, neither Serenity or myself expected such a big interest in the class, with all the hard work put in by our students nine of our fellow HOL students were able to move on to level two which is now running.

With 75 Students in level one and my four in level two, we're hopeful this term will be the best one yet for Auror Training, new and eager to learn students, the program will be sure to stick around for a while to come.

Now! I thought I'd give you a little bit of a history on Auror and what my interest was in bringing it to HOL. Aurors have been around for generations, defeating and protecting our world from Dark Wizards. We learned a great deal about the work and what it takes to become and Auror from our beloved Harry Potter novels. However to become an Auror one must graduate school, and than apply for a three year program at the Ministry of Magic and even that itself proved to be challenging to get in. So I thought if I could bring it to HOL, and give underage Wizards a taste of Auror they would be better prepared for the real challenge of making it to the top. With much winding of bolts and knuts the Ministry has finally approved of my class to be taught at HOL.

Some of you may remember a couple of years ago, another professor of ours, Prof. Arianna Diamth was to teach Auror Basic Training, however due to ministry issues and life challenges the class got canceled before the start of term. Since then there has been no other Auror class offered at HOL till now.

And that is not all that you get from the training, every level you can earn an award from three top awards given for each level, at the end of the training you will receive a personalized certificate of completion which is awarded to all level three students who pass.
