Logic Puzzle:
The life of a student is never easy. To make some extra spending cash (cause we know he could use it), Ron Weasley worked at Dervish and Banges over the summer. During a particular week (Monday - Friday), Ron found that he was always manning the registers when a Hogwarts professor came into the store. Each of these five professors (no two professors visited on the same day) came and purchased a different item for class use, and each professor ended up paying a different amount. From the information provided, determine the day of the week each professor (one of whom was Hagrid) entered the store, the school supply they bought (one professor got some gloves), as well as the amount each paid (10, 18, 20, 28 or 36 galleons).
1) Mcgonagall did not come into the store to buy quills.
2) The five professors, in order of the first to enter the store that week to the last, are Snape, the one who paid 20 galleons for their purchase, the one who purchased a set of quills, Trelawney, and the one who bought a good supply of ink.
3) The professor who purchased parchment came into the store at some point earlier in the week than the one who bought a set of books but later in the year than at least one other professor.
4) Flitwick was not there to purchase quills.
5) The professor who bought something on Friday (who wasn't Flitwick) paid exactly 8 galleons less than the one who came into the store on Monday but exactly 10 galleons more than the one who came in on Thursday.
