- Important Announcement for Content on the Gryffindor Common Room -
Unfortunately, some pretty lame people are spamming the visitor area of the Gryffindor Common room with links and inappropriate messages. At this time there is no way to stop this from occurring, unless we take away ALL guests privileges to post. So we advise all of our guests from other houses to please read this here, in order to understand what to do if you see these types of posts. We do apologize for the inconvenience.

- April House Meeting -
April's house meeting will once again be held on the second Sunday of the month. That means on April 13th at 3 PM EST / 8 PM HOL time there will be a house meeting. Of course, attendance is not mandatory, but you know we love you Gryffs. It will be held in the channel #gryffhousemeeting on IRC. We hope to see you there.

- Gryffindor vs Slytherin Quidditch Results -
That's right, recently Gryffindor had a quidditch match against Slytherin. Your lions won the match 200 to 60. Great job team. Special shout out to game MVP Drew Potter, first year Gryffindor. Excellent job! The next match is scheduled for late April, watch the announcements for more information.

The January Den challenge results are in. Congratulations to the Lunatic Leopards for their first place. Congratulations to second place Twisted Tigers and third place Paranoid Panthers. To see the den challenge results go here.

- Easter Egg Hunt and Den Challenge -
From the mouth of the Easter Squirrel...
"Hellloooo. I have returned. You might remember last year I had the unfortunate experience of falling from Professor Weasley's office window. I have to admit, how it happened remains unclear to me, but that doesn't matter any more. Although I would ask that no one leaves me in the room alone with Professor Weasley. More importantly however, is my arrival, because my arrival means Easter Eggs, and lots of them.

For new students let me introduce the annual Easter Egg Hunt. For one month of the year I come out and hide my eggs. Your mission is too complete tasks and challenges I set you to gain these eggs. This is an individual challenge; however there is no harm in sharing egg location with your fellow den members.

You will find my eggs all over HOL. You must search high and low. You will also have to search the same place, many times. I won't be hiding all the eggs today. Maybe a few every day. I want to make it difficult for you. I have had many years and many months in between of fine tuning my annual challenge.

Once you complete the challenge or the task, you will either PM me or I will be checking the threads occasionally. Once I receive your PM or I check the secret locations, I will award you an Easter Egg into your Gryffmart account. I will in the message tell you which egg you have earned.

At the end of the month you will be able to sell the eggs back to the Gryffmart for 5 manes each. If you sell them back before the end of the challenge you will get nothing!

In addition to this, at the end of the month, I will announce the three top egg earners and I will also announce which den collectively earned the most eggs.

So without any more hesitation let me, to your delight, open the Easter Egg Hunt of 2008!"

FYI. As a special treat, any Gryffindor who submitted for Prose and Cons will receive an egg. Paw Print will be sending those names to the Easter Squirrel.
