- April Challenge Results -
Well the Egg Hunt is finally over (we just haven't posted about it yet) and the results are in. For the first den challenge first place goes to Caramel Cougars! For the second den challenge, first place goes to the Toffee Tigers. For the Overall Den Competition, Toffee Tigers win with 61 points. First place in the Individual category goes to Brenna Westfield and Gwyd Aerlyn!

- May Den Challenge Information -
As many may be aware, Mira went missing due to an unfortunate event with a portkey. At this time, the den challenge is on hold until she returns. If for some reason she cannot make her way back shortly, the results for the winner will be based on current game play (aka, number of hits and sunken ships). If you want to see your den's status in the game go here.
- June Den Challenge -
Den Sale! Even though the May challenge is not complete, our lovely head of SPD has brought forth the final challenge of the year. The task is to (as a den) choose some of your prized possessions or junk and get it ready to sell at a garage or yard sale. Why are you doing this? Because this is the last Den Challenge of the year, and once it is concluded dens will be closed for the summer. (But we have another surprise for the summer). Make sure you say your goodbyes early folks, because once dens are closed, you probably won't be sorted into the same den again with your friends.
- House Meetings -
Gryffindor House Meetings will not be run throughout the course of summer. Please expect them back in September. Until then, keep checking the announcements forum in the GCR for updated information.
- May Award Winner -
Only one award to give away from the Gryffindor Awards Committee, but it was a well deserved award. The Exploding Snap Award is given for those that are most humorous. This award has been given to Rocky Cranston for always amusing us, and working hard everywhere. Congratulations, Rocky!
- Gryffindor Quidditch Team -
Sadly, GQT lost on points this year, but we're very happy to take our second place trophy home. For the remainder of the summer, GQT will be closed, as most members will be participating in the Summer Quidditch League. During the course of the summer (which means late July), tryout information for the coming year will be posted in the Announcements section of the GCR.
- Summer Camp -
Make lists and prepare to pack, summer camp is going to start soon! Prepare yourselves for a summer full of adventure and insanity, in random settings that the evil and conniving nice, helpful and caring prefects have prepared for you. Details coming soon, don’t forget to check the CR from time to time
- Gryffindor End of Year Awards -
As is traditional for our house, we host an awards ceremony at the end of each year. Every student who is active on the GCR can nominate any fellow Gryffindor for an award of their choosing. Yes, that means you get to make them up. To participate please read and respond to this thread. Nominations end on June 30th.
