- House Meeting! -

Gryffindor will be holding its monthly house meeting on Sunday March 14th at 4 pm est in the IRC room #gryffhousemeeting. There should quite a few topics and announcements that the students should proabably hear so make sure you show up!

- Congratulations! -

Congratulations to the Kitten Den for their well earned win in February's Den challenge, which was to write a Valentine's day poem to Sir Nick and The Fat Lady. Individual winners are Jonathan Rico and Sila Snape. Wonderful effort and great poems!

- Dress Sale, Half Price -

With the new spring line of fashion coming out, fourth year Seven Ashitaka is holding a sale to reduce the size and contents of his closet to make room for new purchases. Everything from dresses, skirts, shoes and purses will be half priced. An entire outfit consisting of dress, shoes and purse will be purchasable for only 1 galleon. If you are interested please make sure to attend the sale, located near the lake. All proceeds go to GQT's "Fund Our Weird Outfits" program.

- March Den Challenge -

The March Challenge lasts for the whole month of March and will have a total of seven tasks. The last task will be a task within the winning den to find an individual winner. Once a task is complete, the den will be given a riddle to solve and send into the challenge promoters. Awards are as follows:

Scoring:

Tasks: First place - 10 shamrocks
Second place - 5 shamrocks
Third place - 3 shamrocks
Fourth place - 1 shamrock

For each correct riddle answer, 10 additional shamrocks will be added to your score.

- Watch For Flying Colors!

A couple of 2nd year students (it has not been determined who) have set off ever-lasting color bubbles in the common room. Some of the colors include, neon-green, red, gold, pink, purple, turqouise and bright yellow. Unless you feel like seeing what colors you can change into, we strongly encourage you to be careful when walking or sitting in the common room.

- So You Like to Cheer, huh? -

The Gryffindor Spices are looking for a few good cheerers to help them cheer at quidditch games and promote house spirit. They consist of both boys and girls and are full of energy and ideas. If you are interested in joining please review this topic in the Announcements section of the common room.

- Quidditch Match! -

It's time for another GQT game on Saturday March 12 at 9 pm HOL time or 4 pm est. This time GQT will be taking on Hufflepuff in the second to last match of the season. We hope to see you there!
