The day dawned bright and cold as Gryffindor and Slytherin took to the quidditch pitch to play their first of two meetings this year. Typically these two teams don't play each other this far into the season, however due to a nasty bout of Holiday Cheer from being bitten by a Holiday Bug both teams were incapacitated during their normal playing time.
The game started off on a fast and furious pace for Gryffindor Chasers, as they score with their first possession. The pace of the game was a little slower than usual, because somehow a veela got into the field and hexed the referee's broomstick. The veela has since been admitted to the dungeons with Argus Filch. Hope she makes him happy.
After the first goal by the Gryffindor chasers, the game pretty much proceeded into a one sided zoo. Gryffindor had an ace up their sleeve this match by dressing Captain Seven Ashitaka in bright red fish net stockings with a disgustingly bright pink dress with red fishnet wings to match the stockings. Ashitaka went down once, not from a bludger but because he lost a high heel and needed to retrieve it.
Because of this amazing tactical display by the GQT the Slytherin's were at a loss of what they should be doing. They couldn't understand the daring tactics and actually spent much of the time laughing when the wind blew Ashitaka's dress up. Admittedly, many of the GQT were as well.
The final score of the game was 360-0, Gryffindor win. This keeps Gryffindor at a perfect 3/3 streak and places us still in first for the Quidditch cup. Be sure to catch the next game at 4pm est on Saturday the 21st of February.
