"Love Is In The Air"
By Samantha Wanzo

Where's the love?
nothings free
nothing in the castle
it saddens me
Still waiting with hope
I won't let this be.

Run to my room
Start to cry
Everything in my head was one big lie.
Wish I never met you.
Why did you hurt me like so?
Think back to the time
Asked if you wanted to be my valentine & you said...NO!

FANFICTION: Write a story involving the phrase "pink fluffy bunnies."

"Pink Fluffy Bunnies"
By Heather Kinney

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were sitting in the corner of the Gryffindor common room, heads bent very close, talking in hushed voices. One would almost be reminded of the Weasley twins when they are planning their next joke or product development (or writing to Bagman demanding their money).

"We have to get the Slytherins back for what they did to us on Halloween. Letting loose a bunch of angry bats in our common room cannot be let go with no retaliation!" Ron said.

"I know, but what can we do? Maybe something for Valentine's or Easter?" Harry wondered.

Hermione began rambling off thoughts, half to herself. "How about a mixture of the two? We could do it on Valentine's Day. I bet they won't be expecting anything, since this much time has passed already. We could get in trouble though. If we get caught..."

"Come on Hermione, spill it. What have you got in mind?" Ron asked anxiously.

"Well...you remember what Lockhart did when he was here. Right?"

"How could we forget?" Harry moaned, thinking about all of the pink that surrounded them. And the singing valentines.

Ron chuckled at the memory. "That was something, that's for sure."

"Ok, well, I was thinking we should set something loose in their common room, something that would be so completely out of place. I was thinking..."

Hermione paused, and both boys were about to pull their hair out with anticipation. "Out with it Hermione!" Harry urged.

"Ok. Pink fluffy bunnies."

There was a pause. the two boys looked at each other. Then burst out laughing.

"It's perfect! Hermione you are a genius!" Ron exclaimed, wiping the tears from his eyes.

"Right on! That's...I don't know how to describe it! Just picture it, pink fluffy bunnies hopping all around the Slytherin common room. It's too much!" Harry cried as he slapped his hand down on the table.

"Right," Hermione said with a grin, "now I think I know of a spell that will work for this. I just need to double check in the Library. The hard part will be sneaking into the dorm to do it."

"No sweat! We can just hang out by the Slytherin common room entrance in Harry's invisibility cloak until we hear the password. Then we go back late at night when everyone should be in bed!" Ron smiled.

"Yeah, that should do the trick! This is going to be so wicked. Too bad we don't have a school paper! I can see the headline now: 'Pink Fluffy Bunnies Invade Slytherin Domain'," Harry grinned.

"Indeed," said Hermione, smiling to herself.
