1. Point Status Check
------------------------------------------
As it was to be expected, Gryffindor isn’t the first in the run for the House Cup at the moment, because the point multiplier kicked into action. We are currently on second place, only 335 points away from Slytherin on third place, and almost 2000 points away from Ravenclaw for first place. So we need to distance ourselves from third place and fight to get to the top one.

In other words, non-passive students who don’t do your homework, do your homework, because the multiplier is dragging us down. Thank you ^^

2. HOL Challenge

The HOL challenge has officially started on October 6th. The first task has been posted and its deadline is on October 19th, which is not far away at all ohmy.gif. So do your best and have fun!

3. GQT

A new year, a new Quidditch season! This year’s GQT is comprised of returning members Ben Ackerman, Derek James, Kadina Tigano, Katie Potter, Jenny Lupin, Joanne Grey, Julie Garnet, Missa Matz, and the newly recruited victims players, Barbara Phoenix, Drew Potter, Joel Aireserkeiel, and Zenix James. Congratulations to the new members for surviving the tryouts!

The GQT’s first game is on November 3rd, 9 pm HOL time, against Hufflepuff. You can join #quidditch to watch and #grandstand to cheer. Don’t forget to follow the irc rules though ;D

And the September Den Challenge was won by… the Lunatic Leopards! Congratulations! And congratulations for the other dens too! You all did a great job and the SPD had a hard time deciding the winner. Ah, so much to say about Gryfftoberfest, but so little space and time that it would not do it justice! For short, go explore the subforum over here and explore the challenges. Lots of rubies at stake, so don’t waste too much time to chew on that cheesecake!
